Andrea Kimberley
Andrea has been a full-time artist since 2018 and has led workshops throughout Western Canada. Her compelling art pieces have been showcased multiple times in New York and selected for numerous murals throughout the city of Calgary. After developing an allergy to her main medium of acrylic paint, Andrea explored the use of watercolour and ink. For Andrea, art has been a source of healing and self-discovery. With certification in Art Therapy, she customizes classes to cater to the specific needs of her clients.

Andrea turned art into something fun with depth. I don’t personally do ‘art’ very often. I like to spend my time reading and learning otherwise. This was a great way for me to take some of the personal development tools and inner work that I’ve done and express it outwardly. As someone who always told themselves “I cant do art”, or “I’m not very good at art” Andrea facilitated the space making me feel safe to express myself and dive into my inner child and let him play. The workshop was very empowering to be able to channel trauma and put in into art and then reframe the trauma into a positive spin to gain completion and a sense of healing. The share circle at the end also allowed us additional feedback on the messages that came through for the art.
